Jordan Panel Systems, in 1982 was the Exterior Enclosure Contractor for NSLS I and today is responsible for the total building envelope on the new NSLS II. Core design features include a standing seam metal roof; field assembled metal wall panel system, aluminum and glass curtain wall, windows, louvers, and aluminum composite panels.

NSLS II, Synchrotron Light Source, is a new state-of-the-art, medium-energy electron storage ring (3 billion electron-volts). The 400,000 square –foot facility is designed to aid in the analysis of new materials and help transform the nation's energy future.
